Changes in lifestyle and excessive consumption of drugs to reduce the risk of heart disease turned out to have adverse effects on sexual function disorders that mostly occur in men, researchers at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., analyzed four countries involving 740 men to determine how lifestyle and drugs used for heart disease can affect their erectile dysfunction (ED).
Each study resulted in an increase in male erectile dysfunction as a result of changes hidusp style as well as the influence of drugs they consume.
Heart disease and ED share certain risk factors are controlled, such as high blood pressure, obesity smoking, and lack of physical activity, the researchers explained.
